Cemetery Operators Training Scheme (COTS)

We recognise that trained cemetery operatives and managers are vital to the provision of an efficient, effective and safe service to the bereaved. We have designed the Scheme to train, assess and certificate operatives in safe working practice and to encourage a process of thought that will assist with accident prevention. Crematorium Technicians Training Scheme (CTTS)

This self-paced course is essential for all Crematoria Technicians or for a prelude to the Provision Layout and Management of Crematoria unit which is part of the ICCM diploma. CTTS is the only qualification mentioned in the Secretary of State’s Process Guidance Note that has the credibility of performing to a nationally recognised standard.
