Your Instructor

Mathew Crawley EMBA, FICCM (Dip Hons)

Mathew has been associated with the ICCM for over 20 years, as both a private and public cemetery and crematoria provider, and most recently has been appointed as the Chief Executive of the organisation. With over 25 years in the bereavement services sector, Mathew has progressed from a funeral director to a driven cemetery, crematorium, and bereavement services manager, having undertaken many service-specific roles. Mathew is a guest lecturer in Thanatology at the University of Central Lancashire, and is part of the University of Bath’s Centre for Death and Society team, where he is also undertaking a doctorate in Policy, Research and Practice. Mathew delivers the training for the ICCM Diploma in Cemetery Management, and Understanding and Leading Change.

Terms and Conditions of Booking

Cancellations and refunds – receipt of the completed booking form is a contract.

Cancellations must be made in writing at least 7 working days before the event.

Cancellations made less than 7 working days before the event will not be refunded and you will be charged the full fee.

No refund will be given for non-attendance.

Substitution of delegates at no extra charge may be made by emailing ICCM - [email protected].

Maximum delegates per course is 20. 

The fee for the online training covers attendance and documentation for one person. If 2 people share a camera/computer they most both be registered and 2 fees paid. In the unlikely event of cancellation by the organisers, any fees paid will be refunded but no further liability will be accepted. 

The organisers reserve the right to make changes to the programme should this be necessary.
