How to join
Which level applies to you?
Before completing the form below please check which level of membership applies to you.
There are various levels of membership as an individual. If you are involved with more than one burial authority or crematorium, then it may be worth looking at Corporate Membership instead.
Qualified Member:
If you hold the ICCM Diploma, or have five years certification in the ICCM’s Continuing Professional Development Scheme you are eligible to be a Qualified Member.
Member:
If you don’t meet the criteria to become a Qualified Member you can still become a member if:
a) you are a student registered for the ICCM Diploma, or studying under the Crematorium Technicians Training Scheme or Cemetery Operatives Training Scheme, or
b) you are a non-Diploma holder gainfully employed in a burial, cremation or similar undertaking, or a public ancillary service.
c) a previous member applying to be re-admitted under article 16
Associate Individual Member:
(non-voting membership) is for those who don’t fit either a) or b) above but have a connection to burial or cremation and would benefit from being a member.
Please note that all classes of membership hold full voting rights except Associate Corporate and Associate Individual Members, but only Life Members, Fellows and Qualified Members are eligible to act as Directors of the Board.
